We are based in Napier, Hawkes Bay , and the majority of our gigs
are local. We play at weddings, conferences, birthday functions,
balls, sports award evenings, provide backing for musical
productions etc. Some of our more high profile events include:
Hastings New Years Eve (Fiesta Of Lights) concert finale for 12
Jazz In Park concert 5 times,
Art Deco events in Napier 3 times, Hastings Blossom Festival firework finale concert 2008,
Chinese wedding function in Hastings for Tourism & TV promotion.
2009 Christmas in the Park (Napier), provided all the backing for
featured guest artists: Debbie Harwood, Jackie Clarke, Kim
Chosen to provide backing for Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top) on his Napier
Versatility is the name of our game. All members are highly sought
after Hawkes Bay musicians, and fluent with all styles of music. We
can play Jazz classics from the 1930ís if required right through to
current music of the 21st century. We each have over 25 years
playing experience. Weekly rehearsals coupled with gigs means we are
a highly rehearsed, professional and versatile unit.
We also perform as a Jazz trio or duo for certain gigs.
JOHN FLETCHER is an excellent vocalist in all genres, but is also an
amazing front person who reads the crowd and makes the audience feel
involved. He has played the lead in many musical shows, (eg Les
Miserables,Tommy etc), performed in Nashville, TV, and national

Mayer, Van Morrison, Beatles, Eagles and Creedence Clearwater
Our Jazz repertoire includes: standards from 1930s-1950s, along with

Michael Franks, Nina Simone, Frank Sinatra, George Benson etc
